In this verse, Andre was fully committing to his woman, the woman he was going to marry, and showing the world that nothing was going to stop that. He told all the females in the past that he's finally found the one for him. He also gave up on any other "potential" wife out there when mentioning "wetness all around me, true, but I'm no island" because he wanted the woman right in front of him. His best friend seen the love in him and was scared for him, trying to slow him down, but he said "Fuck it." As in saying "I'm going to do this regardless." His friends still didn't truly see how much he loved her at the end of the verse...so it faded out, and presumably, 3000 married this woman. Throughout the entire verse, that sampled choir I mentioned earlier repeats "I choose you...I choose you baby..." over and over again...reinforcing the decision that Andre 3000 is about to make.

That's been my interpretation of the verse since I first heard it...I heard it and thought "When I finally find the woman I want to marry...nothing will stop me." I knew it had to play at my wedding. The verse showed me how a man can be so focused and so in love at the same time.
